Melanie Jane Explains's me again!

So I am joining my panel of Experts and will share fabulously factual information about Organic Beauty as well as Aromatherapy and will show you some of my tried and tested recipes for healthy glowing skin. I will myth-bust those ridiculous snippets and answer your questions by telling you like it is.

There will be recipe tutorials for Lip Balms, Healing Salves, Body Butters, Face Oils & Mists, Body Lotions, Aromatherapy remedies, Room Sprays & more!

These classes will feature my very own unique recipes which turned into BEST SELLERS when I sold them at markets in the UAE AND I am passing them on TO YOU! Prices will start at just $4.99 and will give you the opportunity to start your own brand of NATURAL SKINCARE or simply make them for yourself and friends

AHA's or Alpha Hydroxy Acids -  slough away dead skin cells leaving your skin revitalised, this week I feature a face mask recipe with naturally occurring AHA's in just 2 INGREDIENTS!

1/2 Pineapple
1/2 Papaya

Remove the seeds from both fruits and blend for 30 seconds in a juicer on a soft fruit setting, then sieve it through a cheese cloth, or piece of muslin or a coffee filter

Dab a piece of cotton wool into the liquid and apply to your face, neck and chest area, you can even put it on the back of your hands!

Leave for 10 minutes then rinse off and tone and moisturise as usual

It will tingle which means it's working!

Don’t just eat your Yogurt...put it on your face

Delve into your fridge and find a natural solution to brighter softer skin.

Natural Yogurt contains Lactic Acid, which is the gentlest of the AHA’s (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) and it helps to brighten, soften and rejuvenate your skin cells. It also helps with premature aging and age

Yogurt also is rich in Zinc and has excellent antibacterial and exfoliating properties, great news for acne sufferers.

Make sure that the Yogurt is plain and natural, (I use the cheapest one locally made, I use full fat but you can use any) and simply massage onto your clean face and décolletage (neck and chest area) (avoiding the delicate eye area) and leave on for 30-40 mins.

Rinse off with lukewarm water and tone with Rose Water and moisturise as usual.

Repeat a couple of times a week and VOILA!

Softer, smoother, brighter skin for a fraction of the cost of expensive face masks!

Eat the rest of the yoghurt with raw honey.

I once had a conversation with a Urologist who said that a teaspoon of honey every day is the BEST natural tonic for your liver.

See... Beauty inside and out

Don't waste your money on expensive face scrubs when you have all you need in your kitchen for less than a penny!

I love this simple recipe so I will share it

It's great for any skin type (except extra sensitive) especially oily or congested skin and your face will feel revitalised afterwards.

•1 tbsp baking soda (bicarbonate of soda)
•1 tsp lemon juice (from a fresh lemon only)

Mix together until it stops fizzing

Apply the paste to your skin and use it like an exfoliator to scrub away dead skin cells for 30 secs (avoid the eye area) then rinse and voila!!

Myth-Busting and Q&A

Does tapping a face oil into your skin make it go in deeper?

No absolutely not!!

This is one of the most ridiculous things I have read on the net lately.

Your skin has a natural absorption rate and tapping will NOT make it go any deeper into your skin.

The only thing that might make it penetrate the epidermis more than usual is if you use it in conjunction with a derma-roller.

'Tapping' can even irritate delicate or sensitive skin, so just carry on applying it as usual by sweeping it onto the skin in light upwards movements.

Will a Vitamin C Serum make my wrinkles go away?

Sorry but the answer is no...

Vitamin C has a temporary effect and is a preventative skin care solution, so it can prevent the onset of more wrinkles but it will not erase wrinkles already present.

It will make your skin glow though but only as and when you use it, so you must keep up the routine.
