#20 KNOW YOUR LIMITS
You need to face it. You can't be good at everything. Nobody can. And nobody can do everything themselves. There are many talented individuals who can do the things that you cannot.
Outsource those things and give them to an expert that can. I spent so much time and wasted so much material on trying to design crappy labels with bad designs.
They made my products look cheap even though the ingredients were expensive, and I couldn't command the prices they deserved, based on my amateur looking labels.
Outsource the things that you cannot do.
It took me about a year of struggling when I finally gave in. Luckily, I had a neighbour who was a graphic designer, so she helped me with my logo and label design in return for free products.
I could then concentrate on other things. Whatever you cannot do, you can find a freelancer to do it for you.
Don't waste your precious time struggling to do it when you can focus on your real talents.
Struggling will only add to the frustration of running a business and you could be tempted to just give up before you’ve really started.
