APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

It was discovered by accident and the name is derived from the French words for "sour wine" but Vinegar has many health and beauty benefits

When I refer to Vinegar I mean Apple Cider Vinegar although my Mother used to use Malt Vinegar to rinse my hair to make it shiny!

One tablespoon a day is recommended, some of the benefits and uses are below:

• Relieves itchy scalp and dandruff – use it as a shampoo rinse but condition the hair after to avoid dryness
Helps control Blood Sugar levels
• Increases Metabolism
• Relieves itching and rashes

Reduces inflammation in aching joints when used as a warm compress
• Helps your body absorb minerals and calcium

There are many myths about Vinegar and its benefits too

According to the USDA, apple cider vinegar contains no vitamin A, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, or folate.

One milligram of calcium in one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar does not come close to the 300 milligrams of calcium in eight ounces of milk, although it does improve your body's ability to absorb essential minerals and Calcium from Dairy and Vegetable sources
